Dr. Westmoreland obtained his undergraduate degrees from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and Logan University, where he was an active member and leader of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), KidsLife, Sigma Phi Epsilon, and UCF’s Student Wellness Advocate Team (SWAT); as well as a member of UCF’s nationally ranked co-ed cheerleading team.
After working as a stuntman for Universal Studios and performing, on tour, as a gymnast and acrobat in the Cirque, he continued as a collegiate soccer player upon returning for graduate school at Logan University, where he mentored incoming students through Pi Kappa Chi, received his master’s degree in Sports Science & Rehabilitation and his doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine.
Dr. Westmoreland has been certified as a Concussion Specialist and now focuses on case management, physical rehab, impairment ratings/scheduled awards, and Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) for injured federal workers under the U.S. Department of Labor OWCP (Office of Worker’s Compensation Program). He has helped build, and was the medical director of, 3 clinics that treated Federal Worker’s Compensation patients. He now runs an OWCP specialty clinic. This is reflected in the patient focused treatments, the federal work. comp. specific functional testing and medical records, as well as the network he consistently develops around him.
He has been a featured panelist and speaker for Florida Southern College and has been blessed to serve in the following capacities:
